Pastor Luke Casagrande
Pastor Luke Casagrande has been involved in full time sacerdotal ministry for over 10 years. Throughout his time as a youth pastor, Luke was dedicated to leading, mentoring, and serving youth and families in and around his church community. Currently, Pastor Luke is giving his life to planting Rise City Church in the Owing Mills/ Balt Area with a vision of seeing “Our City raised to life in Christ.” Luke has been married for 10 years to his beautiful wife Kelly who has been a teacher and administrator in the Baltimore school system for 15 years. Together, Luke and Kelly continue to be a force in our city to see and help people thrive and flourish both educationally and spiritually.
Renee Newton has over 25 years of professional administrative experience, with over 10 years spent in a supervisory senior management position. She has an extensive background in procurement, customer service, accounts payable and receivable. She has also demonstrated a lifelong passion for public service and volunteerism. She is known throughout her communities as a strong leader who brings high standards, excellent work ethic and an aptitude for achieving positive results to any situation she finds herself in.
Katherine (Kate) Clegg Smith, PHD is a professor in the Department of Health, Behavior and Society at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Kate has lived in many places in the US and spent almost 15 years living in England, where she went to high school and university. She moved to the Baltimore area in 2003 and now considers Maryland very much her home. She has one teen son. Kate has almost 30 years of experience in research around how societal structure impacts life outcomes. She is looking forward to becoming active with Acts4Youth to connect her professional background and skills to an organization dedicated to making a difference in the life of Baltimore youth.
